THE WRITE WAY: A Writing Game for Writers

Are you staring at the blank page before you, feeling the familiar rumbles of nerves dance in your stomach, march up and down your arms, and parade your worst nightmares around for all to see? Ahh, good ol' writer's anxiety. How does one get rid of it? I haven't the foggiest idea! So instead of working on other projects, I worked on something else, as writers are wont to do. 

THE WRITE WAY is a short one-person GMless TTRPG where you, yes YOU, become a successful writer. Pick your genre, pick your composition style, and set forth! But, of course, after writing for a bit one must take a break and do something else. I wonder what's up on Twitter...

At the end of the game, you're encouraged to write a blog post about How you became a successful writer. The best place to put that blog post? In the comments section here! I want to read what y'all did to become successful because making this game was really just one step in my master plan for self-esteem. I shall make gamers write how-to-write posts in this very comments section, and I shall gobble up all their tips and tricks, and shall turn it into powerful writing fuel! Muahahaha!

TIPS FOR VARIATIONS: The game is optimized for short-story and novel writers, but feel free to adapt the game. Do you wish to write a movie, or a comic book series? Also allowed! Use the Composition Die that best suits your project. Have fun!
